Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) is a power technique for determining unknown organic chemistry structures. You are unlikely to be asked extensive questions about theory in your Sophomore level college class. Instead, you will use it to interpret spectra on tests or in lab. Thus, I've come up with a "funny" way to explain the theory so that you get the basics and remember them. Please don't use this explanation on a test. You won't get any points.
If you are overly offended, forgive me. If it makes you laugh, good for you for appreciating my humor. Either way it will help you remember, which is the whole point. Please try to see the forest for the trees.
For this and more funny, if not demented, explanations please visit Pass Ochem and purchase my e book.
